About Paula

The face, hands and crafty brain behind The Crafty Sissta.

Hi, I'm Paula 👋🏻

The face, hands and crafty brain behind The Crafty Sissta.

After 25 years as a mental health nurse, I took redundancy and took a punt on myself.

I decided to see if I could turn something I absolutely LOVE doing into this little business. And honestly? I bloody love it.

I love somebody sending me an idea I've never tried before. I love figuring out how I'm going to make it work. And I love hearing that somebody was over the moon with something I've made.

I'm also fussy.

If I'm not happy with it, it isn't leaving me.

My favourite kind of message

“Paula, do you reckon you could...?”

Some of my favourite jobs start with those words.

I'm not trying to be a massive online gift shop where you pick product 437, type a name into a box and hope for the best.

I'd much rather you message me and say “I've got this idea...” That's when my crafty brain starts working.

Some lovely words from lovely people

“Paula really took the time to listen to my needs and create the perfect topper for my daughter's cake.”

“I'm very pleased with what I've ordered. My customers love them. Thank you.”
